2021 Rancho Real Vineyard Viognier

Santa Maria Valley

This is our first vintage of Viognier from the Rancho Real Vineyard in Santa Maria Valley.  To set it apart, our winemaking team chose to barrel age this complex wine for 9 months in neutral oak to highlight its creamy texture and rounded flavors. It impresses with elegant aromas of honeysuckle, mango and lime peel that are joined by nectarine on the palate before leading into the long finish.

Pairing Suggestions:
With complex floral, fruit and creamy flavors we recommend pairing this wine with foods with sauces or seasonings that will enhance this big wine. Some of our favorite pairings are salmon with creamy Tuscan sauce and Thai coconut curry shrimp.
