2020 Bien Nacido Vineyard Chardonnay

The famous Bien Nacido Vineyard is heavily influenced by the Pacific Ocean with morning fog cover and cool afternoon breezes. The soil is diverse made up of sandy loam, chalk and gravelly loam which provide excellent drainage and when combined with the cool climate allows for a long, cool growing season. It has been hailed a single vineyard superstar with the most single vineyard designations in the world.

The 2020 Bien Nacido Vineyard Chardonnay is beautiful example of balance with its fruit forward nose, crisp minerality and kiss of oak. It opens with delightful aromas of pineapple, orange blossom and lemon curd before leading into mouthwatering flavors of apricot and papaya. The fruit flavors are perfectly balanced with a hint of minerality before leading to the creamy finish.
